Dear Ruthie,

We just wanted to let you know how much everyone at our wedding LOVED your cake!  All night long people were asking us who had made it & several people mentioned using you for their next party or event.  (I know WE will be!).  It looked so beautiful (all of the time you spent perfecting the icing color was not wasted!) and it tasted simply fabulous! There wasn't a bite left over by the end of the night - so much for getting to save some for our anniversary! Still, it was worth it to know how much everyone enjoyed it.

Thank you so much for your hard work and all of your help - we truly appreciate it and we WILL be seeing you again!

II have never given any type of testimony unless it is truly warranted and believe me this one deserves recognition.

 My husband and I are very picky about cakes and the icing.   I am a person who doesn't like icing and my husband has a very sensitive stomach and cannot eat a lot of sweets.  So when it came time to choose a wedding cake I was a little on edge.

I found Ruthie's on the internet and what impressed me the most was all of the information I needed to make a decision was on the website.  All we needed to do was taste the cake. I called and made an appointment to meet with Ruthie and to taste a sample.  Well instead of one sample she made three sample cakes for us to taste and we picked the flavors!

My husband arrived and we sampled each cake and to my surprise it was the best tasting icing I had ever had and my husband ate all three of his pieces, completely, and the sensitive stomach was not bothered one bit.  We knew that this was the cake for us!  Then we looked at all of the designs and styles Ruthie had to offer.  I had a hard time but my husband knew the one he wanted and with a little tweaking of colors we had the perfect cake.

Ruthie took care of everything!  We just gave her the address to the reception hall and the time the reception started.  It was nice to know that I didn't have to worry one bit about the cake and the setup.  To be very honest I had so much on my mind I didn't think about it until I walked into the reception hall after the wedding and saw the beautiful cake all setup with the topper we left at the hall.

I had comments from the guests like, "We have had wedding cake before, but this is awesome".  "We don't know where you found this cake but it is the best we have had".  "She drove all the way from Columbus to deliver this cake, that is great because it was well worth it".

So take it from a person that only recommends people if they are worth it, Ruthie's cakes are more than worth their price and Ruthie is worth more than her weight in gold.

Our wedding party turned out wonderfully. Everything seemed to fall into place perfectly and the cake was the star of the show! Our cake was truly beautiful, like a work of art.  Everyone commented on how gorgeous the cake and the roses were - the colors were truly stunning - it was a definite hit even before anyone tasted it! And, even though I hated the thought of cutting into the cake, the french vanilla and the red velvet were as delicious as the cake was beautiful.  I would recommend Ruthie's Cakes and Desserts to anyone looking not only for a great tasting cake but also a cake that will make a special event even more memorable.

In planning my wedding, I was really worried about expenses.  When I found Ruthie's Cakes, I realized that the price was a really good deal, and I decided to go with it.  What a wise decision that was!  Our wedding's crowning touch was the cake created by Ruthie's.  When we arrived at the reception, Ruthie had done a fabulous job setting up the display.  The cake was beautiful!  The fresh fruit and ornate decor were enticing to the guests, as they kept asking with anticipation when we would cut the cake.  When we did, people were immediately impressed by the freshness and moistness of the cake.  Thank you so much for a wonderful job.

THE CAKE WAS GREAT!!!!  I just want to say that it looked beautiful and it tasted 10X better than it looked.  I only got the small bite we exchanged during the cake cutting, the small bite of which I had to wipe off of my nose and eat. It was so good. We had a lot of people tell us that was the BEST wedding cake ever.  I just wish I had gotten a full piece, but it was all gone. Guess I have to wait till our anniversary to have another great bite.  I didn't have time to follow up with you and was a bit worried b/c I hadn't but when we got there, there it was, just like we had expected.
