My daughter and her husband Paul celebrated their wedding yesterday on June 29, 2002 I just wanted to tell you that their cake that you and your associates made was very delicious and the icing is out of this world. It was very beautiful also. We just wanted to say Thank you for sharing the day with us and for the wonderful cake. The wedding and reception was so beautiful and all went smoothly all day and night!

Thank you so much for the beautiful job you did on the cake for Heather’s wedding. From the first taste Phares had us sample at the bridal show to the finished product at the Franklin Park Conservatory, our experience with you both was fantastic.

When we first came to talk to you about the cake, we thought we were going to a place of business and were quite surprised when we pulled up in front of a home! The aroma coming from your kitchen was enticing, and as we sat with you drinking coffee and sampling cakes, you both made us feel like family.

If that would put anyone off, it shouldn’t, because you were extremely professional in performing your services! What a great combination - a very personal touch and family warmth combined with extreme professionalism!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, delicious cake - everyone raved about it (especially the chocolate with raspberry filling)! We had some left to bring home and it was devoured by friends and family. It’s a good thing we had already frozen the top portion for Heather and Nick’s first anniversary or I do believe it would’ve been in jeopardy!

You took the time to capture Heather and Nick’s vision of what she wanted her wedding cake to be and made it happen! I will recommend you highly to anyone I know and we will definitely be calling on you again for other events!

Just thought I would thank you again for the wonderful job you did on recreating the top of the Wedding Cake for my wife and my 10th Anniversary.  The replica was an exact match, right down to the roses!  My wife was very impressed.  It was the best cake we have ever tasted! I think for our 20th Anniversary I might go with a full size recreation.  To heck with diets!

When our favorite bakery moved out of the area I tried cakes from at least ten different places.  Once I tasted Ruthie's cakes the search was over!  Her cakes are fabulous beyond description and her designs are ingenious.  When my son had a GI-Joe birthday party the cake got rave reviews.  I am one extremely satisfied and permanent customer.

We visited numerous places in search of someone who would be flexible enough to create the kind of wedding cake we wanted.  Ruthie was that flexible person we were looking for.  She was willing to decorate our wedding cake exactly how we wanted it (with sliced fruit adorning the top), despite her never having done it that way before.  The end result--an absolutely beautiful wedding cake.  Also, the cake was very delicious...my wife and I barely got a few bites of the cake before our guests devoured it.
